Code of Conduct
Communiqeh Language Training Canada
Updated October 25, 2025
Welcome to the Communiqeh Membership Community — a professional, inclusive space dedicated to helping Canadians communicate more clearly and confidently across linguistic and cultural lines. By participating in this Community, you agree to uphold the values of respect, honesty, curiosity, inclusivity, and collaboration that define Communiqeh Language Training Canada (“Communiqeh,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Relationship Between Documents
The Communiqeh Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct together form the complete legal and ethical framework governing participation in Communiqeh Language Training Canada’s programs, community spaces, classes, private coaching sessions, and events. By joining the Community or participating in any activity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all three documents. The most recent versions are available at www.communiqeh.ca.
2. Be Kind, Courteous, Polite, and Professional
We welcome diverse viewpoints and healthy discussion. Everyone has a different way of communicating, and respectful disagreement is encouraged. Please remember that this is a professional learning space — kindness, courtesy, and professionalism are expected at all times. If a conflict arises, seek constructive dialogue and contact a moderator if needed rather than escalating publicly.
3. No Bullying or Harassment
Bullying, targeting, or attacking other members — verbally, in writing, or indirectly — is strictly prohibited. This includes mockery, or dismissive or derogatory comments related to a person’s communication style, language level, or cultural background. Such behaviour may result in immediate and permanent removal from the Community without refund of membership fees.
4. Respectful Honesty
The purpose of the Communiqeh Community is to help people communicate better. We encourage honesty, even when opinions differ — but it must always be expressed constructively and with respect. Regardless of the topic, opinions should focus on learning, not judging.
5. Inclusivity and Anti-Discrimination
Communiqeh is committed to maintaining an inclusive community where all members feel included, safe, and respected. Discrimination, harassment, or bias of any kind — based on language, accent, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or belief — will not be tolerated. We celebrate diversity as a strength that enriches our community.
6. Be Helpful and Supportive
This Community thrives on encouragement and collaboration. We encourage members to offer help, share insights, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a supportive environment where everyone can grow — regardless of their language level or background. If you notice someone struggling, please respond with kindness and patience.
7. No Disinformation or Malinformation, and Limiting Misinformation
Members are encouraged to share information, but it is important to clearly distinguish factual information from opinion or unverified claims. Factual information must be verifiable by a legitimate source. Opinions and unverified information may be shared but must be identified as such. Intentionally spreading false, misleading, or manipulated information is strictly prohibited and may result in moderation or removal.
8. Respect Your Own and Others’ Privacy
The Community depends on trust. Personal stories shared in confidence or experiences with specific individuals in specific settings should not be shared with anyone else, inside or outside the Community. We advise Members to never share personal or private information such as passwords, payment information, or security details. Communiqeh will never ask you for your password. Communiqeh has a zero-tolerance policy for the misuse or disclosure of private information. For information about how your personal data is collected and managed, please refer to the Communiqeh Privacy Policy.
9. Recordings – Online and Offline
Live classes, coaching sessions, and events may be recorded by Communiqeh for learning, training, promotional, or replay purposes. By attending, you consent to being recorded and understand that recordings may be viewed by others inside and outside the Community. Communiqeh will always request a Member’s explicit permission before using their likeness, voice, or image in any external promotional or marketing materials. Recordings remain the intellectual property of Communiqeh and may not be shared externally. It is strictly forbidden for Members to independently record any class, coaching session, or community event. This rule is reinforced in both the Communiqeh Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
10. Attendance and Event Participation
As a professional development Community, we value accountability and respect for others’ time. If you register for a live Community event, workshop, or session, please attend or cancel your registration at least 24 hours before the event so another Member can participate. Missing events without cancelling in advance may affect your ability to register for future Community events. Repeated missed events may result in a temporary 30-day registration pause (“cool-down period”) to help ensure fairness and access for all Members. Please refer to the Attendance and Event Participation section of the Communiqeh Terms of Service for full details.
11. Copyright and Trademark Protection
All materials and resources available to members in the Communiqeh Community are the intellectual property of Communiqeh Language Training Canada and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. They may not be reproduced, shared, recorded, or distributed outside the Community without written consent. Members may share brief excerpts or screenshots within the Community for learning or discussion purposes, provided proper credit is given.
12. No Political or Ideological Promotion
Healthy discussion about communication, culture, and social policies is welcome, but the promotion of political parties, ideological movements, or divisive causes is not permitted. Our focus is on professional communication and shared learning, not advocacy.
13. No Sales or Promotion Without Approval
No selling, self-promotion, recruiting, or promoting businesses, products, or services is allowed without explicit permission from Communiqeh. Unapproved promotional posts, private messages, or links may result in removal. External links are permitted only when directly relevant to a discussion and clearly non-promotional.
14. No Spam or Mass Messaging
Unsolicited promotions, repeated link-sharing, or excessive posting of unrelated content is considered spam. Spam will result in removal from the Community and possible suspension.
15. Accessibility and Continuous Improvement
Communiqeh is committed to making our online environment accessible and welcoming for everyone. We welcome feedback about accessibility, inclusion, or improvements to the Community experience at any time.
16. Account Deletion Awareness
Deleting your Communiqeh account will permanently remove all data, including private class records, certifications, and access to the Community.
17. Limitation of Liability
Communiqeh Language Training Canada strives to make this Community safe, inclusive, and supportive. However, Communiqeh is not liable for the actions, statements, behaviours, or violations of this Code by individual members. By participating, you agree to take personal responsibility for your own interactions and conduct and to not hold Communiqeh liable for the conduct of others.
18. Rule Enforcement and Removal
Any violation of these rules — or behaviours deemed harmful to the Community, its members, or Communiqeh’s operations — may result in immediate and permanent removal without refund of membership fees.
Communiqeh reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine what constitutes harmful, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour, even if such behaviour is not explicitly described in these Codes of Conduct or our Terms of Service.
19. Reporting and Enforcement
If you experience or witness behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct, contact a Communiqeh admin or email info@communiqeh.cas. Reports are confidential and will be reviewed promptly and fairly. Depending on the severity, actions may include a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal. Moderator and admin decisions are final to protect Community integrity.
20. Updates to Code of Conduct
Communiqeh reserves the right to update these codes of conduct at any time. Any updates will be communicated through the website or by notice to Members and Guests.
21. Acknowledgement and Agreement
By accessing or participating in the Communiqeh Membership Community as a Guest or Member, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to follow this Code of Conduct, as well as the Communiqeh Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. These three documents operate together to govern your participation in all Communiqeh activities and spaces.
